More Angels . . . And A New Etsy Treasury!

I seem to be on an angel kick. I sketched this out the other night in graphite pencil. Just small 6x8 inch sketchbook. I am not sure why I gave her a bouquet as if she were a bride. It seemed to fit. I like that she doesn't have detail on her face. The words along the side popped into my head when she was done "and she said yes".

Strange though because angels don't get married! But then again I suppose they can do anything they want! Right? :)

Speaking of angels . . . my angel photo card is featured in a beautiful etsy treasury Cupid's Collection by Karla Ruth!

Angels indeed are everywhere!

  1. Oh, she is so sweet!! A little angel bride!! I also really like your abstract snow angel from your last post! You are right, there are angels everywhere... Love, Silke

  2. She's lovely!!
You are right that angels can do anything, I even painted a pregnant angel a few years ago lol ;)

  3. I think angels can do whatever! They are angels after all!

    She is auper sweet!

  4. Congratulations on the etsy treasury. Your angel with the bouquet is beautiful and I think very appropriate since she said yes. Happy creating...

  5. Oh she is soooooooo sweet, can't wait to see her painted! I love that she is holding flowers!!!!

  6. She is very sweet and innocent looking.

  7. She certainly does have a great expression on her face. Isn't it amazing how so much can be conveyed by a simple pencil line?

  8. She is lovely Cathy! Your abstract, below, is, too!
