Texture Tuesday . . . Dream

click on image to view larger

This week's theme was "Dream". I thought of this photo I took a couple of years ago at the walk trail I used to frequent. I used one layer of Kim's "Dream" texture which I super love! I really like the textures that have words as this one does. And I like how they are on the path in this image. I did struggle a bit getting the lights and darks how I wanted them. When I uploaded this image to blogger for this post it changed again! lol

Anyhow, hope you like this one! And here is the original image . . .

  7. Sweet Cathy, You Already Know How Much I Love What You've Done With This Photograph! Always Such A Joy Watching Your Talent Unfold! And Thanks For Dropping Over Earlier To Comment On My Disaster. You Are Soooo Righttt..There's Definitely Some Strange Energy Floating Around Right Now. Hope The Sound Of Crashing Glass And A Few Four Letter Words Scared It Off For Awhile! LOL! And Hey..I've Done The Same Thing With Paintings I've Started (i.e. Your Current Gritty Jane Canvas)..Started Off Beautifully With A Lovely Draft And Once I've Carried It To Canvas, Didn't Look At All Like I Had Planned. It's Like My "Muse" Suddenly Takes Up Drinking In The Afternoons Or Something And Comes To Work With A Hangover! LOL! My Advice: Gesso Over Your Original Draft And Go Back In With Something New. Works Every Time. :)) Sending You Some Love & Sunshine, Terri
